About the Position:
The Clinical and Quality Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing clinical operations within the assigned service line to ensure the effective achievement of clinical and quality goals. This role manages clinical personnel with a focus on field leadership, including training, mentoring, and providing clinical support as needed. Additionally, the position oversees the company’s quality system, tracking, analyzing, and reporting clinical quality data, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to support both internal operations and external client partnerships.

What You’ll Do:
Oversee the daily operations of the clinical team, ensuring all procedures and activities meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Manage clinical staff performance, including hiring, training, mentoring, scheduling, and conducting competency assessments to ensure clinical excellence.
Provide leadership and field support to resolve complex clinical issues, promote patient safety, and uphold service standards.
Partner with internal and external leadership to troubleshoot, communicate, and resolve clinical or operational challenges.
Develop, maintain, and oversee documentation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Implement and support the use of clinical systems and technologies to optimize workflow, data collection, and reporting accuracy.
Identify clinical risks, workflow inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement; communicate findings and lead or support corrective initiatives.
Oversee the company’s quality system, including data tracking, analysis, and reporting, to monitor performance and support improvement efforts.
Lead quality improvement programs that enhance efficiency, compliance, and outcomes for both internal operations and client facilities.
Develop and deliver educational materials and clinical presentations for client facilities, physicians, and administrative teams.
Contribute to client relations and business development efforts by providing clinical insight and support when needed.
Maintain active technical and procedural competencies to perform clinical duties or provide coverage as required.
Serve as a role model for professional conduct, promoting adherence to company standards, policies, and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance service line growth, innovation, and best practices in blood management and related areas.
Maintain competency in coverage of management level duties in order to provide backup coverage as required.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of three years of clinical experience required; experience in blood management preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and clinical management experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams, quality programs, or clinical operations.
Professional & Technical Expertise: Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job’s impact to the organization.
Legal & Regulatory Navigation: Understand, interpret, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Action & Results Focus: Work independently, see business needs and proactively accomplish them for the betterment of their team and the organization.
Customer Focus: Attend to the needs and expectations of customers.
Relationship Building: Establish rapport and maintain mutually productive relationships.

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position may also be eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and/or commission plan.
