Your Role: Keeping Our Plant Running Smoothly

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for machinery? Join our team at Cliffe Hill and play a vital role in maintaining and repairing fixed plant equipment that powers our operations.

As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll be responsible for:

• Performing planned maintenance and inspections on crushing and screening equipment

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to ensure optimal performance

• Starting up and shutting down machinery safely and efficiently

• Monitoring plant performance and throughput to meet productivity targets

• Keeping the plant clean, safe, and compliant with site and manufacturer standards

• Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out

• Supporting operations at nearby Heidelberg Materials sites when needed (travel allowance may apply)

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance (ideally in a quarry or heavy industrial setting)

• Strong understanding of fixed plant machinery and safety protocols

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexible and willing to travel to support other sites

• Commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement
