We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sales Assistant/Porter to join our Bridge Street team. The ideal candidate will provide our customers with exceptional service and generate additional sales, ensure that goods received from the Drugstore Warehouse and local suppliers are offloaded, packed and stored appropriately and that store shelves are merchandised and stocked in keeping with established standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILIITES

• Assist customers and respond to customer queries.

• Address customer complaints in a service-oriented manner.

• Merchandise store shelves in keeping with company standards.

• Ensure that the inventory in the back-store is appropriately and safely packed and stored.

• Provide feedback to management regarding the movement of inventory.

• Assist with the stock taking process.

• Support the team in achieving the company’s goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Five (5) CXC passes at General Level, including English Language

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks and exercise safe lifting techniques.

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.

• Must be in excellent physical condition, stamina and strength required.

• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
